Dr. Benichou graduated from school of dental surgery Paris 7-Rene Descarte in Paris, France in 1997 then worked for 5 years in a private office as general practioner. She moved to New York in 2002.
Dr. Benichou first earned a certificate of pediatric dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry in 2006 followed by the Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2009. She completed her training in 2011 with a residency program in pediatric dentistry also at NYU.
Professionally Dr. Benichou considers oral health as an inseparable part of the overall health and welfare of the child, and believes that every child deserves to be treated according to his own level of development.
Dr. Benichou was born in Tel Aviv and lived mainly in Paris. She is trilingual in French, English and Hebrew.
She lives in Manhattan with her husband and their 3 children, Noa, Ellie, and Liv.
